We strongly recommend staying at the Shimoda Tokyu Hotel, because of its wonderful location, good restaurant and the great opportunity to gather all HS members together. Room prices below include tax, tips, breakfast and dinner (receipts giving breakdown can be arranged). Several events are planned for dinnertime, including performances by geisha, traditional Japanese musicians, a barbeque, etc. There is a courtesy shuttle bus from the hotel to the town centre. Other restaurants, food shops and pubs are within walking distance from the hotel (15-20 min) but you will miss the evening events and the inclusive price should prove to be cheaper than eating out.
